Bring a Bag
This year, we are extending the love of Jesus to our community. We’re inviting you to join us in giving gifts of hope and love through building and donating hampers to those in our community who are in need or isolated this Christmas.
Where are the bags going?
The bags we collect will be distributed through our local Orchard Grove Primary School and through the Salvation Army to individuals and families in our immediate and extended community who are in need or isolated.
When and where to bring the bags
Bring your bags to Sunday Services on donation days.
Donation days:
Sunday 24 November & Sunday 1 December
What do we put in the bags?
Starting with a clean bag (paper, plastic or reusable), head to the supermarket, then use the Grocery Suggestions list to build your bags.
A few things to note before you shop:
—The list below is a guide only - you do not need to include everything listed
—Consider selecting some items that will suit families with young children, people with allergies, the elderly or culturally diverse households
—Ensure all items are new/unused and unopened
—Try to select non-perishable items with long expiry dates
